OLA Bamboo floss is biodegradable; however, it does not fall within the strict rules for compost. It takes a little longer to decay than is required by municipal compost. Therefore, it must be placed in the trash where it will eventually disintegrate because it is 100% natural floss containing no plastic.
The small cardboard box goes in the recycling bin, a bonfire, or in the compost once the floss has been used.
