Cucumber and Aloe Vera Natural deodorant

Reducing plastic is good. Reducing chemicals is even better! That is why our OLA Bamboo Natural deodorant (made in Canada) is our new favorite. Its compostable cardboard packaging allows us to eliminate the plastic containers of regular deodorants, which often are not even recyclable. What’s more, it’s a highly effective product free of aluminum, parabens, and—for people who have reactions to —baking soda.

Use your index and middle fingers to press the cardboard under the packaging to push the deodorant stick out. You may need to keep your fingers inside when applying it to keep the deodorant from slipping back down.

Apply a thin layer under your armpits. Do not apply to broken skin.

There is no time limit for use after opening OLA Bamboo Natural deodorant. There is simply an expiration date on the bottom of the tube. The deodorant lasts up to two years after production.

This deodorant contains Canadian beeswax, so it is not considered vegan. Note that the use of beeswax is a good thing because it allows beekeepers to continue raising bees and helps conserve them.

 This deodorant does not prevent sweating, so it is not an antiperspirant. However, it does contain natural products that will help absorb moisture and control odors, such as cornstarch, tapioca starch, coconut oil, and zinc ricinoleate.
